Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance to users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure smooth operation of IT systems. This role involves responding to support requests, configuring and maintaining computer systems, and assisting with network and security tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide first-line support for desktop, laptop, and mobile device issues.
- Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and network problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows) and applications.
- Assist users with system errors, printer issues, and peripheral device malfunctions.
- Manage software updates, patches, and system backups.
User Support & Training:
- Set up new workstations, install software, and configure accounts.
- Manage IT inventory, including desktops, laptops, monitors, and accessories.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to order IT equipment as needed.
Hardware & Software Management:
- Support basic network troubleshooting, including LAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN issues.
- Ensure endpoint security by monitoring antivirus and security software.
- Follow IT security policies and assist in implementing security measures.
Network & Security Assistance:
- Maintain records of IT support requests and resolutions.
- Document system configurations, common troubleshooting steps, and FAQs.
- Generate reports on IT issues and suggest improvements for IT efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
Salary :
18000 to 25000 Per Months
